Pinkerton Forest

Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group (PLEG) is concerned with the restoration of native grasslands and grassy grey-box woodlands, including the grassy woodland of Pinkerton Forest, the nearby native grassland in Mulla Mulla Grasslands (Bush's Paddock) and of the adjacent section of the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge, (which adjoins Western Water Treatment Plant at Surbiton Park) within the City of Melton, Victoria, Australia.

PLEG meeting - Tuesday 3rd July 2012

The next Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group meeting will be on Tuesday 3rd July at 7.30pm.

Western Water wish to build water tanks to store Class A recycled water at Mt Cottrell, & Western Water will discuss the Mt Cotterell project at this meeting.

Facebook Handy Hints

Notifications

If you're finding Facebook isn't showing your liked pages posts prominently on your newsfeed, change the notification settings so you are notified when a new post is published.

If the facebook page is 'liked', in your computer browser you are able to hover or click the Like button dropdown arrow on the page header area, click the Edit icons to view and change the notifications. If checked you will be notified of any new post from our facebook page.

To add our page to an Environment Interest List and add to Favourites

You will see Interests in left column on your News Feed, on hover click the More link.

Click the 'Add Interests' button to create an Environment interest list if it doesn't exist.

Hover on the Environment item in the list and click the settings icon on the right side to Add to Favourites (or to delete the page from the list.)

Click on the Environment item in the list to view the posts from all your Environment pages separately from your news feed.

To add PLEG page to the environment list click the 'Manage List' button at the top and select 'Edit List', set the left dropdown list to 'Pages' and use the search box to search Pinkerton Landcare and Environment Group page.

We found this helps to view Environment related posts in isolation.
